On Thursday, May 7, from 7:30 PM to 10:30 PM, at Forte Marghera in Venice, The Radiant Van, the luminous artwork conceived by the anonymous artist trio CANEMORTO and curated by Antonio Grulli, will be lit for the first time.
The work will enter the collection of the Turin starting from the 29th edition (2026–2027) of Luci d’Artista, a civic heritage program managed by Fondazione Torino Musei.
The event takes place during the week of the 61st International Art Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia, in collaboration with Fondazione Musei Civici di Venezia.
From May 7 to 10, concurrently with the exhibition Granda. The Artists of Atelier 2024–2025, the work will be on display in front of Casermetta 9 at Forte Marghera.
On the evening of May 7, the CANEMORTO trio will stage a performance activating the artwork, during which they will distribute special amulets in exchange for votive offerings.
The project is supported by the Direzione Generale Creatività Contemporanea of the Ministero della Cultura as part of the Italian Council program, aimed at promoting Italian contemporary art internationally.
