Vittoria Caldera

On the balcony, the boundary between the intimacy of home and the city's shared space, light becomes language. A phrase takes shape: some letters are immediately legible, while others are revealed through Morse code, asking the viewer to pause and decipher them.

At a time when we are immersed in a constant flow of communication, the work invites us not to passively receive what reaches us. To pause, reflect and decode is to question how content is presented to us and the meaning it carries. An attentive gaze transforms the recipient of communication into a conscious interpreter.

The light of the work seeks a gaze willing to question it. When that gaze pauses and understands, the light finds us.
