The site-specific light installation, created by Migliore+Servetto in 2017 for the Intesa Sanpaolo skyscraper, is a dynamic work — a wave of color responsive to changes in light, shaped around the symbol of the “alpha.”
Located within the bioclimatic greenhouse, the heart of the skyscraper, the installation unfolds like a stop-motion frame: a sequence of luminous scales generates a pulsating organism, an iridescent vortex brought to life by the light it emits. It interacts constantly with natural light reflections and with the surrounding horizon.
